Wadali is a small village located about 12 km from
Amritsar. This historic village is famous as the birth place of
Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh Guru.
Guru Arjan and Guru Hargobind are said to have blessed this village with their presence.
Believed to be founded by Chambal and Man tribes, Wadali is one of the major religious centers in Punjab. Gurdwara Guru Ki Wadali is the main point of attraction. Every year on Basant Panchami, a big fair is held here attended by thousands of devotees.
