Vizhiyagam Eye Hospital is a non-governmental charitable voluntary organisation serving people in the rural areas by curing blindness. Established as a service project of Helen Keller Service Society in 1991, the hospital has facilities for cataract extraction surgeries, intra-ocular implantation surgeries, glaucoma surgeries, minor sight restorative surgeries and eye health promotive counseling.
