Vindhyachal Thermal Power Plant is a coal based thermal power plant located in Sidhi District of Madhya Pradesh.
The station started power generation in 1987. It generates an average of about 2260 million units of power annually. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli are the major consumers of power generated from this plant.
