Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), started functioning under the aegis of Vidya International Charitable Trust, in 2003. The college is affiliated to the
University of Calicut and approved by All India Council for Technical Education. It has academic alliance with Microsoft Corporation.
VAST offers BTech courses in mechanical, computer science, electronics and communication, and electrical and electronics engineering. A well-stocked, fully computerised library with internet connectivity, state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops, and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are some of the infrastructural facilities. The college promotes co-curricular activities and research endeavors.
