Victoria Hall in
Raipur is a prominent remnant of the past. Also known as Town Hall, Victoria Hall was built in 1890 in commemoration of Queen Victoria. Initially, all administrative duties were carried out here. Later it became the administrative headquarters and all important conferences held here.
Victoria Hall is an attractive red color mansion with verdure outside the building. An ancient streamer on the left and a golden statue of Mahatma Gandhi in front of the hall add to the charm of the building.
Presently, Victoria Hall hosts social and cultural functions. Points of interest nearby include
Jaistambh Chowk.
