A historical building, the Victoria Diamond Jubilee Town Hall at
Visakhapatnam was presented as a gift by the Maharaja of Bobbili to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of the late Queen Victoria. It was handed over to the Visakhapatnam Municipality, which then belonged to the state of Madras.
