Vettoor, also called Vettur or Vetchur, is located in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. Vettoor is around 5 km south of Varkala.

There is a night school here for senior citizens established by Sree Narayana Guru. Attingal, Kilimanur, Anjengo and Chirayinkeezhu are places nearby.

Nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport. Varkala Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
