Verbascum is a biennial plant seen in Nowshera, Sunderbani, and Kalakote Taluk of
Rajouri District. It grows on stony, dry and parched slopes. The plant puts forth in the end of May to June, and blooms in August. The plant has spear shaped leaves and small, shallow, five petalled flowers.
