Venkatesh Emporium is a textile showroom launched in 1958 as a wholesale outlet. At some later stage (in 1962), the shop was converted into a retail outlet. It is situated at Sulthanpet in
Palakkad.
The emporium has an excellent range of sarees including Kovai cotton, Madurai Chungudi, Karishma, Banaras, handloom and fancy. Its ready-made section includes churidars, nightees and baby wears. The shop also has a good collection for gents, including suiting and shirts from branded companies.
