Velijala is a beautiful village located in
Mahabubnagar District. This village houses many holy shrines dedicated to
Lord Shiva,
Hanuman and Ranganathaswamy.
Shri Narasimha Swamy Alayam is the main attraction. Velijala has four Hanuman temples located in the northern side. Several types of
pujas are performed here. A large number of devotees assemble here in the month of Karthikai. Velijala is a major pilgrim center for the
Vaishya community.
