Veeranarayana Temple is situated to the west of
Chennakesava Temple, at
Belur, in
Hassan District,
Karnataka. The temple is noted for the craftsmanship of its exteriors and interiors. The temple is exquisitely carved with some fine sculpted figures of various Hindu gods and goddesses.
The temple is surrounded by small shrines of Kappe Chenningaraya, Soumyanayaki and Andal.
Belur, situated about 38 km north-west of Hassan, is well-connected by road and rail with Hassan.
