Vazhikkadavu is a beautiful hill station on the outskirts of
Kottayam District in
Kerala. It is covered with rocky terrains. One side of the rock is very tall and the other side is a steep valley. The
Meenachil River flowing through this terrain resembles a silver lace in the blunt landscape. Vazhikkadavu comes alive in a riot of colors with orchids and wild flowers during December-January.
Around 3 km away from Vazhikkadavu is Kurisumala, a renowned Christian pilgrim center.
