Vazhapally Shiva Temple

Shiva Temple is situated at Vazhapally in Changanacherry taluk of Kottayam District. It is about 17 km from Kottayam and 2 km from Changanacherry Railway Station.

The chief deity is Lord Shiva. The temple is adorned with many sculptural works. There is also a worship place for Lord Ganesh. This Shiva temple is believed to be a popular one in the country even during the reign of the Kulasekara Perumakkanmar.
