Vazhakarutheeshwarar Temple is located on the Gandhi Road at Addisonpet, in
Kanchipuram. Vazhakarutheeshwarar (Lord Shiva) is the presiding deity of the temple. There is an idol of
Lord Shiva in the sanctum-sanctorum. Belief is that, this holy idol will drive away fear from the hearts of the devotees and bless them.
