Vatsalya Trust a charitable trust in
Mumbai came into existence in 1983. The organization was formed to provide shelter, nutrition, formal education and vocational guidance to those children who are facing crisis.
To provide shelter for the children they have started Balikashram, which currently accommodates about 62 girls in the age group of 4 to 16 years. Along with Balikashram, the trust also runs a home for the senior citizens (Vanaprashthashram) and admits persons of all ages without any gender discrimination. Periodical health awareness, community development programs and counseling services are organized.
