Vata is the most significant among the three Doshas. This
ayurvedic term is connected with the wind element of the panchabhuta. If Vata is imbalanced in the body for a long time it will relatively affect the other two doshas namely
Pitta and Kabha. This tridoshic imbalance will be very difficult to overcome. Vata is the main driver of the body. It functions for elimination of fetus, semen, feces, urine and sweat. It also assists in all the various metabolisms in the body, controls all the physical and mental movements of the body and relays all sensory input from the various senses.
