Vashishti River, originates at the west part of the
Western Ghats, offers pleasant boating. Vashishti flows westwards and merges with the
Arabian Sea. The river is suitable for fishing and occasionally crocodiles can be seen on the river. City of
Chiplun is located on the banks of Vashishti River.
