Situated to the south of the main Dr. Rajendra Prasad Avenue, Vasco da Gama Railway Station comes under
South Central Railways. It is linked to
Belgaum,
Hospet,
Hubli and
Hyderabad by meter gauge rail. Most of the trains to
Goa run through this station.
Goa Express, Kulem-Vasco da Gama Passenger and Londa-Vasco da Gama Express are the main train connections. Computerized reservation facility is provided.
