Vasco Sports Club, formerly called Clube de Desportos de Vasco da Gama, was established in 1951 at
Vasco da Gama, a cosmopolitan city of
Goa.
The residents of Vasco da Gama and the Portuguese troops stationed here formed this football club. Named after a famous Brazilian club, it the oldest existing club in Goa.
The club has won several titles including the Kerala Trophy, Stafford Cup, Bandodkar Gold Trophy, Chakola Gold Trophy and Sait-Nagjee Trophy.
Vasco Sports Club is located near the Tilak Stadium. It offers two types of memberships for the public.
