Vardhaman College of Engineering at
Mahabubnagar is the first engineering college of the Jain community in
Andhra Pradesh. Since its inception in 1998, it has contributed actively to the education and comprehensive development of youth, irrespective of the barriers of religion, caste and creed.
Affiliated to
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University,
Hyderabad and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the college offers undergraduate courses in computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and information technology. Facilities include computer center, a growing library, laboratories, and hostels for boys and girls.
The college is 100 km from Hyderabad. Frequent bus and rail transport is available from Hyderabad and other places in Andhra Pradesh.
