Valiyaparamba is one of the most scenic backwater destinations in
Kerala. A noted fishing center in

Valiyaparamba, a hinterland separated from the mainland, is around 5 km south-west of Cheruvathur and 30 km from Bekal Beach. Kasargod Railway Station, on the Kozhikode-Mangalore-Mumbai route, is 46 km away from here.
