Valiya Juma Masjid is a famous Muslim pilgrim center in
Malappuram. A four-day festival held here in April of every year draws a large crowd. A mausoleum of the Malappuram martyrs situated nearby is another place worth visiting.
The mosque is noted for its Kerala style of architecture.
