Vakadu

Vakadu is a coastal town and taluk headquarters in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. Nellore is around 50 km north of the town.

Vakadu rests on the sandy coast of the Bay of Bengal and the coastal belt of Andhra Pradesh starts from here. Prime attraction of the place is Vakadu Beach.

Tirupati Airport is the nearest airport. Gudur Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
