About 5 km from Pomburpa, Vainguinim is in North Goa District of Goa. It is near the border of Bicholim and Bardez taluks and is around 4 km south of Assonora, 6 km west of Piligao and 5 km north of Goltim.

Our Lady of Socorro Church, Sanquelim Fort, Mayem Lake, Arvalem Waterfalls and Lamgao Caves are the places to visit.
