Vagator Beach is located at
Vagator, about 22 km from
Panaji in
Bardez taluk,
North Goa District. It is also known as Little Vagator. Groves of coconut palms that surround the beach and the white sands on its shore enhance the divine beauty of the beach.
Anjuna Beach and
Chapora Fort are the nearby attractions. Varieties of fish, coconut, banana, Bebinca, a Goan delicacy made from tender coconuts, candelabras made of exquisite blue china, woven baskets and earthen pots are available here. It is a favorite venue for mid-night parties during the season. Swimming is a popular acivity here. It is a popular beach with tour operators and a fresh water pool. September to March is the best time to visit Vagator beach.
