VB Cricket Academy is located at
Mylapore in
Chennai,
Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1997 by former Indian cricketer V B Chandrasekhar with the aim of providing scientific coaching to the youth.
The academy has a coaching center at Gurunanak College campus and a residential coaching center, called Nest. The college campus comprises 7 turf practice wickets including a baby concrete wicket. The Nest is a five acre residential cricket coaching facility at Pudupakkam. It has a state-of-the-art indoor cricket practice facility called Batting Cage.
Training package includes video sessions, individual attention analysis, physical training program, beach training, practicing with the bowling machine and regular match practice on the turf wickets. An advanced training course of 9 months is also conducted there.
