V. V. Giri National Labour Institute
Founded in 1974, the V. V. Giri National Labour Institute is an autonomous body of the Ministry of Labor, Government of India. It offers research, training, education, publication, and consultancy programs on labour-related issues. The institute is named after the former president of India, Varahagiri Venkata Giri. Researches are conducted in labour-related issues in both organized and unorganized sectors. Its library has a large collection of books and journals related to labour studies.
