V S B Engineering College is situated 13 km west of
Karur on the
Coimbatore-
Tiruchirapalli road. Managed by the V S B Educational Trust, the institute was established in 2002-03. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to the
Anna University,
Chennai. Courses include Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics and Computer Science Engineering. Infrastructural facilities include well planned academic blocks, lecture halls, seminar hall, drawing hall, library, laboratories, play grounds, health club and separate hostels for boys and girls. The curriculum involves extra and co-curricular activities to develop the skills of the students. Admissions are as per government norms.
