Usgalimol is an ancient site situated in
South Goa District. The archeological explorations held here have revealed some of the rock carvings. These findings, dating from the upper Paleolithic to megalithic period, include symbols of the Zebu bull, a dancing female figure, a horned animal, harpoon and sex symbols. The rock art gallery here displays unique and wide diversity of animal forms from the Mesolithic period. This is one of the sites which deserve listing among the world heritage sites.
