Uppali




Uppali is a scenic hamlet located in Sangrur District of Punjab, about 3 km from Sangrur. This place is a renowned center for Sikhs and is said to have been visited by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib (the ninth guru of the Sikhs) on his way to Delhi. In order to preserve the memory of his visit, a Gurdwara has been established here.

Sangrur Railway Station on the Ludhiana-Jakhal railway line is the nearest railway station. Ludhiana Airport serves this area.
