Upasana means prayer or service performed with a view to attain the love of god, who is worshipped in the form of one's chosen deity. Upasana is the highest form of communication with the creator and can be expressed through chanting and music. A true and divine upasana needs constant faith in the eternal form of god. The aspirant would never allow a breach in his spiritual quest.
