Unnamalakadi




Unnamalakadi is a hamlet in Kanykumari District of Tamil Nadu. Located close to Kerala, this picturesque village was part of the princely state of Travancore and was integrated with the State of Tamil Nadu in 1952. The village abounds in natural beauty with lush-green paddy fields, coconut groves, banana plantations, luxuriant greenery, mountains and ponds. The village is also blessed with the presence of the Thamraparni River.

Unnamalakadi is well linked to Kanyakumari by road. The nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport and Nagercoil is the nearest railway station.
