Umri

Umri is a small town near Karanji and is about 10 km north of Kelapur, in Yavatmal District. It is located around 20 km from Bori and 70 km south of Jamb. Yavatmal - the district headquarters – is 63 km north-west while Nagpur - the Orange City - is 125 km north-east.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary are interesting wildlife getaways within easy reach. Chintamani of Kalamb, Mahadeo Temple at Moho village and Sahastrakund Waterfalls are other tourist options in the neighborhood.
