Umraoganj

Situated at an altitude of 1,466 ft, Umraoganj is a small town in Raisen District of Madhya Pradesh. It lies towards the western part of the district, about 13 km north of Sirwara and 27 km south-west of Raisen. Bhopal, the capital city of the state, is 25 km west.

Bhimbetka, Sanchi, Ratapani Sanctuary, Raisen Fort and Singhori Wildlife Sanctuary are ideal excursion sites.

Bhopal Airport and Bhopal Junction Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
