Umerkhadi

Umerkhadi is a densely populated region towards the eastern shore of downtown Mumbai. It is located 2 km south of Mazagaon.

Umerkhadi was a creek separating the island of Bombay from Mazagaon until it was reclaimed in the 17th century.

Sandhurst Road is the closest suburban railhead. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is about 14 km to the north. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station is around 5 km south.
