Udan

Situated about 59 km north-east of Raipur, Udan is a township in Raipur District of Chhattisgarh. The town is about 7 km south of Palari and 6 km north of Baldakachhar. Nearby towns are Bhandara (16 km west) and Khaira (14 km east). Major points of attraction include Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum, Mahakoshal Art Gallery, Nandanvan Garden, Maharajabandh Lake, Mathpurena and Budhapara Lake. Significant pilgrim centers are Shri Jagannath Dev Temple, Hatkeswar Mahadev Temple and Doodhadhari Monastery and Temple. Raipur Airport and Raipur Junction Railway Station serve Udan.
