Uchahatta

Uchahatta, also called Hatta Danga, is a holy place located at Madhyadvipa, one among the nine islands of Navadvipa. It is said to be the place where demigods worship Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The name is derived from Ucha means ‘loud’ and hatta means ‘assembly.’

It is believed that staying here one day is similar to that of staying at Kurukshetra (place associated with the Mahabharat) for a hundred years.
