Tsechen Damchos Ling is a small monastery situated at Tibetan Colony in Mundgod,
Karnataka. The monastery follows the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The Tsechen Damchos Ling is the reinstatement of an 11th century monastery of Western Tibet in Karnataka.
Tsechen Damchos Ling provides education for the monks in Tibetan and English languages along with the religious training. Religious programs are organized throughout the year and there are special rituals on all the special days dedicated to Lord Buddha. Special rituals and prayers are conducted upon the request of local people for their benefit.
