Tryambuli Devi Temple is located on a lofty hill to the east of Karveer Taluk, at
Kolhapur, in
Maharashtra. This small temple enshrines the self-created idol of Tryambuli Devi (also called 'Trayamali’) in black stone. The idol is depicted with four hands and is positioned with its back turned to the Mahalakshmi Mandir. A beautiful statue of
Shivaji Maharaj is seen in the temple premises.
The temple is highly revered by the Karveerians; in every Ashadha, the ritual of pouring water on the steps of the temple is celebrated with much pomp and splendor. There is a Yamai Mandir also.
