Triplicane is located on the suburbs of
Mylapore. It is a busy commercial center in
Chennai. The place got its name from the
Tamil word “thiru-alli-keni.” The main attractions here are the Parthasarathy temple built by the
Pallavas in the 8th century. Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt and Anjaneya Temple are other important religious places.
