Trilochana Ghat




Trilochana Ghat, one of the prominent sacred spots in Varanasi, is the site of Trilocanesavara Lingam, the three eyed image of Lord Shiva.

This ghat is associated with Pilapippala Teertham. It was a famous site for sacred bath during the 12th century.

Narayana Dixit, a saint poet, renovated it in 1772. Later it was made pucca by Nathu Bala of Pune.
