Tota Mahal

Tota Mahal is a historical monument located at Mehrauli, in South Delhi. Built in the early period of 20th century, this building served as a house for Lala Kali Prasad, son-in-law of Lala Chunna Mal of Chandni Chowk.

This two-storied building has a well-tended park next to it. There is also a huge well and a separate bathing area on the rear of it. This mini-fortress has a large number of rooms each decorated better than the other. Presently, this mahal is in a dilapidated state due to neglect.

Qutab Minar (2 km), Quwwat-ul-Islam Masjid, Iron Pillar, Shamsi Talab, and Chattarpur Mandir are local attractions nearby.

Tota Mahal can be easily approached from Connaught Place, Delhiā€™s most renowned shopping center.
