Tomb of Razia Sultan is one of the prime attractions of
Kaithal in
Haryana.
Razia Sultan was the only daughter of
Iltutmish - the Sultan of
Delhi. An aggressive battle held here between Razia Sultan and the rebel forces of Delhi. On November 13, 1240, Razia Sultan was murdered along with her husband, Ikhtyar Din Altumia. A mosque is alongside the tomb.
