Tiruvallur District is bordered by
Kanchipuram District in the south,
Vellore District in the west, the
Bay of Bengal in the east and the state of
Andhra Pradesh in the north. Spread over an area of 3,422 sq km, Tiruvallur District has a population of 2.7 million. The languages spoken are
