Tirukurallappan Temple




Tirukurallappan Temple, one of the famous Krishna temples in Kerala, is located about 10 km from Chengannur. It is believed to have been built by the Pandava brothers. The chief deity here is Lord Krishna in the form of Parthasarathy. The idol of Lord Krishna with the Sudarsana Chakra attracts large number of devotees. According to myth, Arjuna, the Pandava brother, installed this image. This temple also houses the idol of Goddess Padmasini.

To visit this place, the Chengannur Railway Station and the Cochin International Airport are the nearest points of access.
