Tilwara Cattle Fair during March/April is an important fair in
Barmer District. It is held at
Tilwara village and the fair is dedicated to Rawal Mallinath.
Thousands of livestock including camels, bullocks, cows, horses, sheep and goat brought from Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh are traded here. Shops with local handicrafts from Rajasthan and bordering states come up here at the time of the fair. The sale of condemned articles of air force like wheels and hardware is a unique aspect of the fair. Rajasthani music and dance creates a carnival atmosphere during the fair.
