Thul is a general purpose basket used by the people of
Mizoram. This basket, woven from bamboo splits, has a square base with the sides spreading out to a circular rim. The sides are double-walled and the corners of the base feature legs for the support. A semi-spherical dome shaped structure, woven from cane, serves as the lid of the basket.
