Thrikkannamangal is an urban area located in Kottarakara Taluk on the Oyoor -
Kottarakara road, about 4 km from Kottarakara. SKV Higher Secondary School on the banks of the Kallada Irrigation Project canal is the major educational institution. Several Christian institutions and churches are revered in the village. Famous Kottarakara Ganapathi Temple is very close to Thrikkannamangal.
