Thoseghar Waterfall, 36 km from
Satara, falls from a height of 1000 feet. A full frontal view of the falls can be obtained by going to
Chalkewadi and then walking down the road for 5 km. Dense vegetation on the pinnacle, hanging creepers, and dark overhanging rocky cliffs make the falls more amazing. The place can be visited throughout the year.
This area is a favorite haunt of picnickers and tourists to this region.
