Thoran




Thoran, a popular dish of Kerala, is usually prepared with cabbage, beetroot or other vegetables, sliced into very small pieces, and boiled in water with salt and chillies until all the water is dried. Ground coconut pulp and mustard, fried in coconut oil is then added for flavour. Green papaya is sometimes used to prepare thoran.
